continueation of Companies stunt artists growth & favoritism

I posted earlier about companies and would like to continue with that topic since I was  short on time due to an appointment.

The last post I mainly focused on FNC but SME is as guilty of bad treatment if not more so then most other companies out there although no shady business has been reported that I currently know of in regards to female talents. Instead it would seem most of SMEs main issues are seen in  the very popular male groups. Though I am sure there are things with the female groups too. SME brought to light the seriousness of  Slave contracts, That was in a huge part thanks to JYJ TVXQ/DBSK former members who decided enough bullshit was enough, you only need so much fertilizer to make things grow after all.  Their treatment towards the members was terrible!  for me I noticed things were shady with that group when I had found out Kyuhyun from Super Junior didn't have a bed. How could you have him live in the dorms and NOT have a BED for him! you prepare that stuff in advance if you plan on adding another member to the group nothing could have been THAT spur of the moment! and then the fact it had been a while since he had no bed! I heard it's fans who bought him his bed. more attention was drawn when Hangeng former member of SJ left. There was also  the situation with Kibum who originally wanted to act he went along with SJ for years then wanted to act  then we saw less and less of him but apparently he's still part of the group. Now there are issues with EXO also highly popular this is just hearsay since it's currently going on and rumors are flying all over the place  but rumor has it Kris wanted to act or something and  they weren't letting him or something and so he now has the same lawyer Hangeng had ... wonder how that came along? here is a post about that https://www.facebook.com/HwangHaeBi/posts/10152466463524468

"Just remember, EXOtics, this is S.M. Entertainment we are talking about - one of the most cruel entertainment companies in existence who would do anything for money, even at the expense of their artists. I wouldn’t even put it past them to try and silence him by not letting him speak for himself.
Stand firm, stand strong, and continue believing in EXO and Kris. I’m not an EXO stan, and frankly I won’t even be able to answer half the questions I’ll get after posting this, but I just wanted to let every EXOtic out there know that we Inspirits are behind you every step of the way in this ordeal. ‪#‎supportourartists‬ "

SME is another company that limits their artists musical freedoms there were fans who were so confused and shocked when former TVXQ member Jaejoong of JYJ came out with his solo album and it was rock music. People were wondering where it came from but I thought it was brilliant he always seemed like a visual kei kind of guy to me. I tried explaining to one fan who was  no too sure where  it had come from that many artists like a variety of genres but often aren't allowed to explore them in their own music. I had heard SME does not let  artists use their own songs unless they are as good as a professional  or their own writers, but in all honesty  if not for their vocals some of the songs wouldn't have ever sold well. Besides I'm sorry  but  telling them if their songs aren't as good who is the judge of that? Let the fans decide  not just you are yours

I feel  SME likes it's artists to feel miserable. SME also plays favorites it's not as apparent but there are Boa was  an artist who inspired so many  to become singers themselves, she was also one of the first reasons I got into KPOP. BOA has been pushed to the shadows and left almost completely unpromoted and neglected. Heechul from sj has also claimed he has issues with the company but won't talk about them publicly. The artists themselves do not like the term Slave contracts and do not see themselves as being "slaves" but it's a term that fans have trouble veering from.

I'm all out of steam and must go I hope this was soe more food for thought until next time keep safe

A msg to FNC

I was told by my friend that FTISLAND got in trouble because of fans who were upset  and started trending #AlwayswithFTISLAND and We want FTISLAND's own music. Though I suppose some fans went overboard calling and complaining but that is NOT FTISLAND members fault! Fans have minds of their own! EVERYONE is aware of that and fans of Korean artists  often seem  more excessive. If fans could easily be controlled by the idols there would be NO SASAENGS but that's not the case is it? Why in gods name would we not want to support our idols by trying to make them happy and showing them our support . We were merely showing them we love them believe in them and want them to be happy that we want to hear their own feelings and thoughts all their expressions in their music. As someone who writes and is an artist in  my own way I can understand, We put part of ourselves in our work and the fans want to receive what FTISLAND has to give us.  Is it fair to punish someone who merely questioned fans? he was not our ring leader he put a question mark after it and besides where did it say Pri's gather and trend that you want our music to be created by US! They do NOT HAVE TO ! WE HAVE ALWAYS WANTED IT!

FNC We fans are not happy with YOU! and there are MANY reasons behind that YOU think this is the only thing we don't like? WRONG! I DISLIKE SO MUCH  ABOUT YOU. START TREATING FTISLAND and AOA BETTER! They aren't just your cash cows.

Companies stunt artists growth and show favoritism

First things first I apologize for the long absence, I will try to devote more time however a pizza could only be cut in so many pieces before you can call what you receive a meal or even a slice, I wish to sate your appetite  enough that you enjoy the meal but want to  come back for dessert.

A friend of mine was supposed to write an article about companies in the Korean music industry and how they are forever being shallow and playing favorites. As well as their bad business of neglecting their artists  pushing them too hard  and not respecting them  in the least, I am sure there are more things and that the list could go on.

Many companies focus a little too hard on profits that they all but turn their  artists into flesh covered robots. These artists look so real and human like but they are powered by large Energizer batteries (threats of no salary and no career) Popular demand and greedy fans do play a part in Artists being weary and over worked. There are companies who pay based on solo activities and technically that is fair if one guy is hosting a radio show and is working hard going on it even when he could be getting  his rest then yes he should not have to share that income. Groups where everything is split between all members is okay too  IF it's things they have all worked on like an album where they are all performing regardless on if they have any lines to sing. What is NOT fair however is how it is ALWAYS the SAME members getting all kinds of jobs and the others are given no opportunities. Other members may want to  be part of a show  or radio session or maybe they want to model or act , they should be given the chance but more often then not they aren't and so their income never received an increase sure it's good to make a budget off of but that's about it. Companies can stunt an artists growth in so many ways.

Companies have forever been stunting their artists and not just overseas but here in North America as well, which is normally when our artists switch to other companies or form their own. One of the main ways Companies stunt an artists growth is by limiting them to a certain genre of music , many artists are made to do one kind of  music for one type of audience and in order to grow and reach their best they need the ability to explore all options even if it means their fan base might become a circus. Technically speaking they are no matter what, through self discovery and trial and error they will deliver music all groups of people like. Another stumbling block is the material they sing, an artist a real deep in the soul artist longs to share their work with the world and be acknowledged for their gifts. There are so many companies that refuse to let artists do their own songs and I believe that is not only a shame but it's wrong. They are limiting their artists and their artists growth in preventing them from expressing themselves fully. There are many artists in the industry that are brilliant composers and  the likes but they refuse to let the artists shine, even though the brightly they shine the more money lines the companies pockets. Giving your artist free reign musically is not a bad thing more so when they have already showed you the fans love their songs . If a song is well received and it was created by the artist that should encourage you to allow them more freedom  it should not make you  hold them back from  offering their fans what they want the most the words that came from their hearts and souls.

FTIsland is an AMAZING band they are all talented and they work hard , their company FNC believes in rewarding them by spiting them. On their anniversary FNC debuted another artist it could have been put off by a day or even  done earlier but they for whatever reason decided it would be best to do it on FTIslands anniversary. There are many things that have happened to support this opinion of mine (which several of my friends share) FNC's favorite artist(s) seem to be CNBLUE, who are very talented don't get me wrong! However why is it that they get paid more and have opportunities FTISLAND doesn't get when they had been with the company a good 3 years prior to CNBLUE debuting. I am not sure if it is true or not but many fans say it was FTISLAND's money the company used to promote CNBLUE. I don't know if that is true though it is believable , what I do know is that there is no reason why a group that has been popular with many fans for a good 3 years more should be paid less than CNBLUE. They had showed the yearly income for several Korean groups and it made absolutely no sense to me . Then there is the matter of Promotion CNBLUE seems to get more promotion even though FTISLAND has amazing songs they either barely get any promotion or it's short lived. Recently FNC has broken a promise made with FTISLAND which stated they could promote and make their next album  using only all their own  songs, it would have been an AMAZING album that would bring lots of green to the company however they  refuse to allow it. They now claim they will first have to review all the songs and everyone  else  in the company will decide and if someone disagrees that song will not be accepted. I do not know how much truth is in it however I know FNC has without fail let FTISLAND down and it's members have not hesitated to inform fans of such. I have started to think that one reason to not allow FTISLAND to put out their all original song album is because it would be a huge hit and  people might  favor them even more and CNBLUE might not be as  center stage in the publics eyes. That is ridiculous however because CNBLUE are also very talented and amazing artists and I love them , but company personnel can be paranoid.

FNC is an example of a company that stunts artists growth, they are shallow and unsavory in the way they conduct themselves. When AOA had first come out I was excited beyond belief a girl rock band !!!!! but in the end what a let down turning them into every other girl group out there , in the beginning they seemed awkward when they were dancing in heels and short dresses. FNC has sexified (I'm aware that's probably not a real word, I'm still using it) AOA you just have to look at their latest album. If you haven't seen the album booklet photos GO LOOK, if not for Choa's leg we would have had a crotch shot I find it very distasteful. Then in that same vein on the last page before the credits they  have 3 of them in that same similar pose of being  in mini skirts with their legs crossed with leg or foot obscuring the panty shot view. I was under the impression they were suppose to be a Band not another girl group. I still enjoy their music but I had such a different expectation that I can't help but feel let down.

Companies seem to think Females have no interest in females who sing and so they  ONLY focus on attracting MALE focus. Females like female artists the fanbase for Spice girls definitely wasn't a sea of men , we like having someone we can look up to and feel we relate to it makes us feel like our own dreams are attainable. Few girls want to be dressing and dancing as though we belonged in a cabaret or like we want to show all our goods off . What happened to all the artists we could relate to? for Tomboys we mainly have Amber to relate to because she is one of the only artists  to be shown to us in that way. We want the girl next door the nerdy book worm , the shy wall flower, the confident one, comedian, sexy we want  women that remind us of ourselves. Also less is more we can be sexy without having to  wear sexy clothes but we get the idea or the message that if you want to be seen as sexy this is the best and only way .

I will end this one here for now since I have an important meeting with my Doctor but I hope I have given some food for thought in this post

I just found this and would like to share it

 http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.ca/2013/04/instiz-primadonnas-call-out-fncs-bias.html

This is all about FNC's bias against FTISLAND written by a fan there is so much in it that I had completely forgotten about or merely decided to block out for some time but it's all come back to me now.

there are comments there that talk about similar things in different companies with different artists.
